Text from the organiser:
Oslo City Hall opened in 1950 and is decorated with impressive motifs from Norwegian history, culture and working life. It is home to the city’s political and administrative leadership, and serves as a venue for both small and large municipal events. The Nobel Peace Prize ceremony is also held here on 10 December each year. Melodies from the City Hall carillon are played every hour.
Get to know more about the history, decoration and architecture of Oslo City Hall. From 30 June to 29 August, we offer free guided tours on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 12:00 and 14:00. The guided tours are conducted in Norwegian and English.
