Åkrafjorden Glamping is located in the small village Fjæra, deep in the wild and beautiful Åkrafjorden. The 2 domes "Padl" and "Bjødnasete" are located on a mountain ledge called "Hidleren", and which has been an important part of Kristian's family farm for many hundreds of years.
Here they are located towards the edge, with an absolutely fantastic view over the Åkrafjord and beautiful steep mountain peaks, which rise 800 meters upwards on all sides. Even though they are only a 5 minute walk from the village, you are completely alone in what we Norwegians refer to as «Gods free nature» with birds chirping, wonderful rustling from the deciduous trees, squirrels bouncing around, and if you are lucky the local deer show their curiousity to see who who is visiting. You might also spot one of the local Eagles too!
