A concert dedicated to Englands foremost composer, Henry Purcell.
Henry Purcell composed music for church parties, the royal court, public ceremonies, private devotions and joyfull entertainment. Music fit for Westminster Abbey as well as the tavernas.
Including: Mary Bevan, soprano, Edvard Grieg choir, with Baroque soloists conducted by Bjarte Eike.
