Øien Øvre Horse activities

Øien Øvre is a farm situated in Heidal, near Jotunheimen and Rondane. We offer you horse activities all year through. Please contact us for more information.

During the winter season, we collaborate with local hotels and restaurants, taking their guests on sleighrides. We also may offer sleighrides to minor groups or families at our farm. Every Sunday throughout the winter we arrange horseback rides in our local surroundings.

During the summer season, we offer mountain rides of various lengths. On our mountain farm you will experience some of the morst magnificent scenery in this area. The length of the trips vary from a half day, up to three days. The rides take place in beautiful surroundings with a view to the highest peaks in Norway.
From September to May you can even participate in courses at our riding school.
