Øvstestølen and surroundings

An area with beautiful scenery (42 sq km) just south of Trollstigen. 5 good lakes (Meidalskoppen, Slettvikvatnet, Slufsekoppen, Veslelangdalsvatna) for trout fishing and about 35 km with trout rivers. All lakes are cultivated and there are no other fish than trout.

Season: As many of the lakes are situated on high altitudes (714-1054 m.a.s.l), the ice has not always melted until the end of July. The safe season is therefore from the end of July until the middle of September.
