Historic Andvord farm, the old assembly site in Lom, is a unique place to stay within walking distance of Lom town center, with Jotunheimen right outside the door. Here, cultural heritage, nature, and hospitality come together.

Nestled beneath the mountain Lomseggen lies Andvord gard, one of the oldest farms in Lom. The buildings from the 1700s have been restored to give guests modern comfort and quality, but the history still lingers in the walls.

At Andvord gard, you sleep in comfortable beds as a guest. The silence, the scent of freshly washed wood, and crisp air provide a wonderful sense of well-being. In total, there are 12 bedrooms with 23 beds. In the eldhus, you can enjoy a sauna and shower.

The buildings retain their original 1700s and 1800s style, with decoration by local artists of the time (Skjåk-Ola, Rasmus Garmo, textile art, paintings, and old silver from the farm). Andvord gard was awarded the quality label Olavsrosa by Norsk Kulturarv in June 2012, after the brothers Michel and Richard Andvord completed the restoration of the farm.

A stay at Andvord gard can be combined with museum visits, food experiences, mountain hikes, rafting, and other nature-based activities. Lom is a central hub in Southern Norway, with magnificent nature and culture, and the perfect starting point for mountain hikes in every direction.
