The veteran boat M/S Fram sails scheduled boat trips from Vrådal on lake Nisser throughout the summer.

M / S Fram is a veteran boat from 1909 that sails on the beautiful lakes Nisser and Vråvatn. The boat is located at Straand Hotel's pier in Vrådal.

Lock cruise 2 hours
In the period May to October, you can join a two-hour lock cruise in a beautiful inland archipelago, through narrow straits and between idyllic small islands. On the trip you will, among other things pass the lock museum in Vrådal and Småstraum lock, which is hand-operated and Northern Europe's highest located lock.

Pre-order serving
There is a kiosk on board where you can buy food and snacks during the boat cruise or you can simply pre-order food on board in advance of your trip.

The history of the boat
MS Fram is an old timber tugboat, which operated on the lakes Nisser and Vråvatn from the beginning of the 20th century until the 1970s. In the 80's, the boat was converted to passenger traffic and has since carried thousands of visitors over the beautiful waters.
