Bøensætre today is a lively cotter's farm with animals just as it would have been about a hundred years ago.

Bøensætre and "Farmen farm" is a unique example of cotter's farm culture, and the largest and best preserved croft in Østfold.

It has now emerged as a vibrant cotter's farm with livestock and all settlements in a restored landscape. The farmstead is located in a quiet wooded area by a pond. Here, shoulders are lowered and life enjoyed. It offeres short travelled food based on local ingredients.

On Bøensætre there are about 30 beds. Activities, lessons and courses are so many things within crofter scowling trip, flora and fauna, canoeing, fishing, cycling, the Health & Wellness.
