Welcome to a charming stay at our boutique hotel at Kulturgården Bjerkem – where history and culture meet



Stay in our converted barn – with hotel-standard comfort!

We’ve recently added three brand new double rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and hotel-standard facilities. The interiors are thoughtfully designed with details inspired by the beautiful traditional costumes on display at Bunadburet.



We also offer unique pilgrim accommodation with seven alcove beds – ideal for groups of friends or families of 3 to 7 people. During certain periods, individual beds in this room may be booked, especially in connection with pilgrimages and other events.

Travelling as a larger group?

We can extend our capacity with an additional two double rooms and a spacious bathroom in Kårenden, the charming wing of our historic Trønderlån farmhouse. The main building was constructed in 1831, while the Kårenden wing was added in 1885, built using a rare combination of traditional log and stave construction techniques.
