Valldal
Tjønnebu is on Tjønnane at the top of Steindalen, elev. 981.m.
Self-service "key-cabin" (without provisions), on the route between Grønningsæter in Valldalen and Vakkerstøylen. Built in 1968, it reopened as an ÅST cabin in 1993. Nine beds (five in a separate bedroom and four in the combined lounge and kitchen).
Dog access in the basement, with access to a cage and dog bowl. Mattresses for the owner to sleep on.

Road through Valldalen to Grønningsæter, where there is parking.
