In the summer you can hop on a ferry to beautiful, car-free island Merdø at the following times every half hour from 10:30 to 16:30
Return from Merdø every half hour from 11:00 to 17:00.
In the summer there are actually two ferry companies sailing every day every half hour. From May 18th 2024 there will be a ferry (Olaf Knudsen) at the weekend (Sat & Sun). See phone numbers below if you wish to confirm with the companies. The rest of the year the ferries are available as taxi boats.)

The ferries take from 20 to 97 passengers, depending on the boat.
Duration: approximately 25 minutes.
NB! If you buy a return ticket, make sure to return on the same ferry you came on, since these are two different ferry companies.
