Festung Lista

Festung Lista Hangar museum is a historical museum located in Hangar 45, at "Lista Fly- og Næringspark".

The museum contains amazing discoveries from the World War II, and we get an insight into what it was like to live at Lista during the war. We are happy to show you the museum and serve the story in an authentic way.

Festung Lista Hangarmuseum is based on the regional war story from Lista and the surrounding areas, which is also representative of most established defense areas in the country. The museum is today the largest, and visually, the widest-established theme-based historical adventure museum in southern Norway with a total of 1,500 m2 indoor exhibitions located in the X-German aircraft han

Opening hours in summer 2025 (June 28 to August 10):

- Tuesday 12:00 – 16:00

- Thursday 17:00 – 21:00

- Saturday 12:00 – 16:00

- Sunday 11:00 – 16:00

Opening hours for the rest of the year:
Thursday 17:00 – 21:00 and Sunday 11:00 – 13:00.
