Fossli Hotel is uniquely located on top of the huge Vøringsfossen waterfall with magnificent views of the Måbødalen canyon. The hotel was established in 1891, 25 years before there was any road connection from Eidfjord. The composer Edvard Grieg was a regular guest at the hotel.

Fossli Hotel has 21 rooms, all with en suite bathrooms. There is a restaurant, café and a fully licensed bar at the hotel. The location right on the edge of Hardangervidda mountain plateau makes the hotel an excellent starting point for hikes in the high mountains.
