Åkra
Smiedal farm is located in the Åkrafjord and offers horseback riding tours on an Icelandic horse with a local guide.
With his unique knowledge and experience, Trygve Østebø, who runs the family farm Smiedal, takes you on an unforgettable nature experience. It includes a stop for a bite to eat by the campfire at Vikastøl. The horses are robust and strong, used to people, and with Trygve to guide you, it will be a lovely, safe and memorable experience.
Practical information:
Minimum four people, maximum seven people.
Max. weight 90 kg.
Age from 8 years upwards.
The trip lasts for 5 hours and includes a guide, horse ride and food by the campfire at Vikastølen.
The trip can be booked on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the season from 1 May to 1 November.
You must bring your own backpack with the necessary equipment, extra clothes, some food and water.
