Guided SUP tour of Skudeneshavn from the town centre. The tour goes via Gamle Skudeneshavn (Søragadå seafront) to the town beach Vigane and back to the town centre. The stand up paddle board tour with Saltråk is a round trip around two islets off Skudeneshavn, and we paddle in the direction that is most favourable in terms of the wind and currents.
What should you bring on the tour?
You don’t need any special equipment to do this tour, but comfortable clothing, flat shoes, sunscreen and a water bottle are recommended. It may also be a good idea to bring swimwear and a towel, as those who are up for it can go for a swim at the town beach if the weather is fine. A change of clothes is a good idea in case you get wet.
What is included on the SUP tour?
Saltråk provides a paddleboard, lifejacket, waterproof mobile case, waterproof 10-litre bag to bring on the board, water and snacks for everyone.
Who is the guided SUP tour suitable for?
This activity is suitable for most people who are mobile enough to sit or stand on a paddle board. Children aged 10-12 and up can paddle their own board, while smaller children should sit on the board together with an adult.
How long does a guided SUP tour last?
The tour lasts from 1 to 2 hours, depending on the group’s wishes and the weather conditions.
How many people can be on a guided SUP tour?
Minimum number of participants on a guided tour: 4 people or NOK 3,000
Maximum number of participants on a guided tour: 10 people
Booking and cancellation
Tours can be booked and cancelled until 12.00 the day before. A full refund will be given for tours paid for in advance. The organiser can cancel at shorter notice due to weather conditions. A full refund will then be given to customers who have paid in advance.
