Haukenestårnet in Rømskog, unmanned DNT cabin with overnight and day trips at RV21 5 km south of Rømskog center.



Here you can sleep as high as possible in Østfold (335 moh) + The tower 12m.



Haukenestårnet is Norway's only preserved fire tower in wood and roughs with its special shape. The tower was used as a fire tower until 1975. The landlord Johs Ramberg bought the tower. It was later taken over by Rømskog municipality as a memorial.

Two of the bunkbeds have one and a half a mattresses at the bottom, so it's possible with 2 in each of the beds.
