Visit Henrik Ibsen's apartment

Experience the new exhibition about Ibsen's plays and see the magnificent theatre stage.

One of the highlights is Ibsen's beautiful flat. The flat is restored with the original furniture, and with the original colours and decor. See Ibsen's flat as it was when the great playwright himself lived there.

There are guided tours in Norwegian and English every day. The tours run every hour, and the last tour starts one hour before closing time.

Museum shop

In the museum shop, you will find a wide selection of literature by and about Henrik Ibsen. Gifts and souvenirs in different price ranges are also for sale, such as Ibsen book ends, table runners with patterns from Ibsen's flat, tote bags, t-shirts, games, magnets and bookmarks.

The shop has the same opening hours as the museum and is available without an entrance ticket.

The museum is part of Stiftelsen Norsk Folkemuseum.
