Rømskog Spa is located right by Vortungen, a gem of a lake. Everyone can have a relaxing canoe trip in very peaceful and wilderness surroundings. Our tour proposal of barely four kilometers, just a small taste of the northern part of the sea, and a distance so short that everyone can do it, even children from 8-9 years who participate and paddle.

If you want a longer trip, Vortungen is very branched, and you can paddle through several straits, go ashore on pine-clad small islets, or explore several small "fjords". Then you come to parts of Vortungen where there are no roads or cabins. The sea is quite narrow, which means that if you were to capsize with the canoe, it is never far to land.
You can rent canoes, oars and vests at Rømskog Spa & Resort and the price is 250.- per half day.
They also have three SUP boards (Stand Up Padldle, standing paddling) for rent, the price is NOK 250.- for half a day.
