The Kristiansand River Kayak Tour is a peaceful , nature-based paddling experience on the Otra River, just minutes from the city centre yet with the feeling of being far out in nature.
The tour follows the river downstream and offers a comfortable paddling experience without rapids or challenging conditions. This makes it suitable for beginners while still being varied and engaging.
We use stable single kayaks, providing a more active and personal experience than the double kayaks often offered elsewhere along the coast. The guide gives a thorough introduction and accompanies the group throughout the tour.
Participants should be in normal physical condition, comparable to being able to walk at a relaxed pace in the forest for a couple of hours. The tempo is calm and adjusted to the group.
