Langøyene island can be reached by ferry all summer, and has a big beach, s shop, a nudist beach and a beach volleyball court.

Island in the Oslo Fjord with a big sandy beach, a shop, a nudist beach (at the southern tip), a beach volleyball court, a football field, kiosk, toilets, and great hiking possibilities. Langøyene is child friendly and accessible for wheelchair users,

Langøyene can be reached by ferry line no. B2 from City Hall Pier, which goes all summer and takes you to the east side of the island.

Langøyene was originally two islands, but they are now connected. Where the sound between them used to be, there is now a big field for ballgames and other activities. Occasionally there are concerts and other events at Langøyene.

This is the only one of the islands closest to Oslo where you can camp. Camping (tents only) is allowed for maximum two days as long as you follow the rules stipulated by the Municipality of Oslo.

Langøyene is newly renovated with a new beach, new bathroom facilities and clean drinking water.

Note: Do NOT miss the last ferry back from the islands to the city centre! There is no water taxi service available in Oslo. The Norwegian Society for Sea’s main purpose is to save lives at sea and help people in need. The same goes for the police and fire department: they are NOT transportation services. On rare occasions, the Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue can transport people back to the city centre but the fee for this journey will be a minimum of 5.000 NOK.
