Langstranda Beach is located 15 minutes drive north of Narvik and is nice recreational place both summer and winter for locals as well as visitors.
Langstranda is regulated as a recreation area in Narvik municipality and as the name suggests, this is a long beach located just north of Rombaksbrua Bridge.
There are two parking areas that can be used for access to the beach. There is a pine forrest right up the beach which is perfect for setting up a hammock.
The place is also perfect for enjoying the northern lights, as you have a view straight out of the Ofotfjord with fantastic mountains as scenery under the northern lights.
