Restaurant on a small gem of an island just off the shore at Bygdøy, where it opened all the way back in 1929.
Open only in the summer season, Lille Herbern is a place where people come to enjoy fresh seafood in a casual atmosphere. The kitchen is open until 10 pm every night in summer and until 9 pm from 6 September.
Private parties
The waterfront restaurant can accommodate up to 70 guests indoors, plus 20 guests in a private dining room.
The terrace has room for 100 guests for dinner and 50 in the bar section.
Transport
Take the bus or ferry to Bygdøynes. From there, walk 300 metres and take the first road to your left after the museums. Wait for the ferry to take you across to Lille Herbern island.
