The museum presents old toys from 1850 and onwards. Most of them are collected in Norway, quite a lot also produced in Norway, and this is why they are an important part of Norwegian cultural heritage.

This private collection consists of thousands of old dolls, cars, teddybears and other stuff. The museum is located at Sakrisøy which is a cosy fishing-village in Moskenes. It is located along E10 3.5 km north east of Reine, direction Svolvær. Sakrisøy has been owned by the Gylseth Family for more than 150 years. The company is run by Dagmar Gylseth.
In the loft above the museum you will find the perhaps biggest bric-a-brac store in northern Norway which reflects Dagmar's joy of collecting.
Furniture is being sold from the boat-house down by the road.
Summercafe' with warm waffles.
