Lysebu was originally built in 1916 in traditional Norwegian style, and the property is situated at the gateway to Nordmarka, an outdoor paradise just 30 minutes from the city centre of Oslo.
The hotel's meeting and banquet facilities have space for up to 250 guests. Lysebu hosts conferences, parties and meetings throughout the year, as well as wine tastings, concerts, lectures and exhibitions.
Lysebu is owned and operated by The Fund for Danish-Norwegian Cooperation, and is Norway's gift to Denmark as a thank you for food aid during WWII.
