M/S Brekke on the Halden canal

MS Brekke and crew would like to take you on a unique journey through Norway's oldest canal system.

An adventurous and historic journey through beautiful nature and spectacular locks. A unique experience in a watercourse with quiet and calm waters and untouched nature. If you're lucky, you can see both beavers and ospreys.

The Haldenkanalen as a whole has a height difference of a full 40 metres, spread over three lock locations. And at Brekke you will find Northern Europe's highest lock with a lifting height of almost 27 metres.
