Discover the rich history of Macks Ølbryggeri with our daily guided tours at the old brewery in Tromsø. Mack relocated its main brewery after 135 years, so this historical building now offers a unique opportunity to explore the past and present of this iconic Norwegian local brand.
Gain insights about the ingredients and brewing process that make this beer so exceptional and tasting unique. Watch a 15-minute video bringing you back to 1800, explaining the influence that the booming fish industry partly had on the start-up of this brewery. Visit the interior of the building, with the guide, and get to know the historical inside of the Mack Brewery. One tasting from Mack is included in your tour.
End your visit at the beer shop of Mack, where you can find locals who are buying home-brewery installations to brew their own beer at home, such is the popularity of this natural hop product since the Viking age. Skål (cheers in Norwegian)!
