Magic Mountain Lodge is in Lyngseidet, surrounded by the Lyngen Alps and a great view of the Lyngenfjord. We offer rooms with a fjord view, free Wi-Fi, lounge area and terrace. We can also serve breakfast and dinner on request.

Magic Mountain Lodge in Lyngseidet is one of the most popular places to stay for people on ski holidays around the Lyngenfjord. In the common room/bar or on the terrace, you will meet like-minded travellers with whom you can share experiences.

During the summertime, you can find some great starting points for mountain hiking and other activities. We have bicycles for rent. In the winterstime, you can admire the Northern Lights from the terrace or join us on a Northern Lights safari.

We have 15 single and double rooms of hotel standard featuring ensuite bathrooms, free Wi-Fi and some have a TV. We serve breakfast, dinner and packed lunches for our guests on request. The common room features a large TV and sofas where guests can relax.

How to find us: We are 500 m from the ferry pier in the direction of Koppangen.
In Lyngseidet you will find a supermarket, a sport and electronics shop, clothes shop, post office, bank, wine monopoly and the tourist information office.

The ferry across the Lyngenfjord to Olderdalen leaves from here, as well as the northbound bus (to Alta/Storslett) and south (to Tromsø).

    How to get there

    Location: Magic Mountain Lodge is located in Lyngseidet, approx. 2 hours from Tromsø.

    Directions: From Tromsø, follow the E8 until Ramfjord, turn left, on Rv 91, towards the Breivikeidet ferry (20 min across the Ullsfjord), arriving in Svensby, turn right and follow the Rv91 towards Lyngseidet (ca 22 km). When arriving in Lyngseidet, turn left and drive past the ferry port. You will see the Magic Mountain Lodge sign on your left after 500 m.

    If you are arriving from the north on the E6, take the ferry from Olderdalen across to Lyngseidet (ca 45 min). When you arrive in Lyngseidet, drive about 100 m, turn right (almost 180 degrees) onto the road. You will see the Magic Mountain Lodge sign on your left after 500 m.

    If you are travelling from Narvik, follow the E6 to Nordkjosbotn and continue north on the E6 (19 km). When you reach Oteren, turn left onto the Kv 868 and drive to Lyngseidet (42 km). When you arrive in the centre of Lyngseidet, drive straight ahead past the ferry port. You will see the Magic Mountain Lodge sign on your left after 500 m.
