Ryvarden was built in 1849 and is located by the sea. After the lighthouse became automatic in 1984, the buildings have been used as a cultural centre. Here one can find a gallery, café and museum. During the period from Palm Sunday to the New Year the exhibition changes every month. Are you going to arrange a seminar, a meeting, a course or teambuilding? What about having this magnificent scenery as an added benefit? While sitting in your meeting you can enjoy the panoramic view in all directions. Although you are inside, you have the feeling of being close to nature. We believe that this will give those staying at Ryvarden an extra dimension.
In connection with seminars and conferences it is of course possible to go by car or minibus, and to park by the lighthouse. For small groups we can also recommend our overnight facilities. Waking up at Ryvarden can bring you great inspiration for good discussions and decisions. In addition to our main meeting room we have smaller seminar rooms which can be used. We can also offer catering for up to 50 people.
