One of Norway's largest conference hotels

Welcome to “new” Scandic Hamar!



Scandic Hamar is one of Norway’s largest conference hotels. Following a major refurbishment, the hotel now offers 302 modern rooms and versatile meeting facilities for up to 1150 people in the same space. It also has a separate event venue with similar capacity. A brand-new restaurant and bar opened in autumn 2021.



Make use of the fully equipped gym, relax in the sauna, or borrow a bicycle and go for a ride along the town's beautiful beach promenade. In collaboration with Hamar Tennisklubb, the hotel also offers access to outdoor tennis courts only 150 metres away.



Scandic Hamar is the children's hotel at Hamar, and has a separate space for teenagers, a play area for the very young, and a children's menu with delicious dishes. Children under 13 years old stay free of charge. Scandic Hamar is in a central location, and only a 10-minute walk from Hamar town-centre and Mjøsa. Spectacular outdoor areas and a range of activities for both young and old are within easy reach. Innlandet’s largest shopping centre, CC Hamar, is 100 metres from the hotel.
