Come join us on this tour in the Lysefjord region with an unforgettable hiking trip up one of the world's longest wooden stairs. 4444 steps from the shore level up the mountain are rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Lysefjord and the mountains.

This adventure tour will take you from Stavanger/Sandnes by coach. First stop isByrkjedalstunet with charming old 1900-centuries styled houses in natural surroundings. We will visit a candle factory with a large variety of self-produced candles, souvenirs and local art.
The journey continues through beautiful Sirdalen, a popular hiking area for people from the entire region. We get a brief stop at the viewpoint «Eagle's Nest»600 meters above sea level. The view towards the Lysefjord and the spectacular hairpin bends that winds down the mountainside to the village of Lysebotn is both unique and beautiful. The bus drives us down the 27 hairpin bends to the fjord where the boat is waiting.
As we cruise towards 4444 Flørli you will see the famous Kjerag rising 1100 meters above sea level.
At Flørli we disembark. Flørli is one of the largest power plants in the fjord that dates back to 1917 (not in use anymore). The pipes run on the outside of the mountain, and next to it the 4444 wooden steps. The staircase is 1470 m long and has an incline of 740 m. It's one of the longest wooden staircases in the world and has become a very popular tourist attraction.
It's a great nature experience to walk the stairs up the mountain. Remember to enjoy the amazing view! You will follow a path back to the village. In Flørli there is also a summer café, exhibition in the old factory building, and there is accommodation for overnight stay in the old houses in the small idyllic village.
We continue the cruise along the Lysefjord where we see the Pulpit Rock, theFantahålå cave, waterfalls and peaceful islands. From the cruise on the fjord we also come close to the rich wildlife and we may see goats, seals and different birds.
The cruise ends in Lauvvik and from here the bus will bring you back to Sandnes and Stavanger.
