Exciting nature experiences at Ringkollen, with overnight stay in a tree tent!

Exciting nature experiences at Ringkollen, with overnight stay in a tree tent!
Located in Krokskogen in the north-western part of Nordmarka, Ringkollen offers a great number of trails, cycle paths, and spectacular fishing lakes. Ringkolltoppen, just behind Ringkollstua, is one of the highest peaks in Nordmarka. If you love fishing and water activities, lake Øyangen is within easy reach and is the ideal spot for paddling and perhaps that record-breaking trout catch.

The basic package gives you accommodation in a tree tent. In addition, you can also order food for the entire trip and / or complete your out-door tour with a real out-door activity such as canoe- or kayak padling or mountain biking. Together with the crew you decide whether you want to do the activity on day 1 or 2.

Day 1
Arrival at Ringkollen from 12:00 onwards. Ringkollen is located furthest north in Nordmarka, Ringerike. The tree tents are ready when you arrive, and the camp is close to Ringkollstua with its spectacular views of Ringerike. Toilet, shower, sauna, and basic kitchen facilities are available at Ringkollstua should you wish to make use these.

If you choose to have all food included, everything will be ready for you upon arrival. All food will be stored in a small kitchen that you have access to. You have the opportunity to heat the food indoors if desired.

Menu:
Breakfast: Homemade bread, ham, cheese, boiled eggs / scrambled eggs, tomatoes, cucumber, butter and juice from Røyse fruit and berry press.

Dinner: Game stew with elk meat and homemade mashed potatoes. Traditional game stew with local and self-shot elk, mushrooms, vegetables and self-stirred cranberries.

Day 2
Departure, or alternatively spend the day in the Ringkollen area.
