Accomodation in a lavvo

At an airy space along the roads of Danseråsen, north of Brumunddal, we have decorated a large Sami Lavvo (tepee) with room for up to 8 people to sleep at benches and camp beds. If you are a larger group of people and have booked several treetop huts it can be an alternative to gather at the Lavvo. It has room for up to 16 people.
The Lavvo is located about 150m from the Spruce Hut, 450m from the Birch Hut and about 1,5km from the Sky Hut. There is a large parking place next to the Lavvo.

There is a small kitchen unit in the lavvo, and a stone built fire-pit with a grill for cooking and making coffee. Benches and logs covered with sheepskin function as comfortable seating.

There is an outdoor toilet in the forest behind the Lavvo. Toiletpaper, kitchen towel, coffeepot, pots, frying pan, water for cooking and cleaning, candles, tealights, single use items, some kitchen utensils, firewood and fire starters are included in the price. 

The adventure trail for children starts just behind the Lavvo. It's possible to rent mountain bikes from us.
Price for bike rental is 179,- NOK per person per stay, including the helmet. There are about 150km of forest roads with minimal traffic to explore. Pleas elet us know in advance when you want to rent a bike. 

The price for booking the Lavvo is 1499,- NOK per day. Camp beds can be placed inside for overnight sleeping. Price for a camp bed with a mattress is 99,- NOK per person.
When booking, the Lavvo is available from 5pm the day of arrival till 11am on the day of departure. Often it is possible to arrive earlier and depart later, but it needs to be confirmed with us first. 

Bring your own sleeping bag, headlight and water for drinking. If you want to order food from us, we recommend “Elghakk” - a traditional Norwegian dish made with moose meat.
