Exciting cooking lessons at Heggli
In the old days it was important to use wild plants in everyday cooking. The crops we use are familiar to most. We begin the day course with two-hour round-the yard where we gather what we find for the season. By unfortunate date choice - it happends often in Trondelag - chef prepares something beforehand.
You get basic recipes for soup, sauces, salad, pasta dishes, risotto, dessert, preservation methods and much more. While we were eating the creations we can talk about the chef's tricks and everything of interest.
Cooking courses within use of wild herbs can be held in English.
Courses in carts-construction
Take a few days and barley stock car with the children (from about 5 years). Guenther provides guidance. It is possible to participate in stock car race at Hasselvikadag the second Saturday in July each year.
