Experience air sports with your company or club
Welcome to the Ole Reistad Center, named after the Norwegian aviation pioneer and sportsman Ole Reistad. The center is part of the Starmoen leisure park outside Elverum and is the Norwegian Air Sports Association's national center for gliding with a variety of activities in summer and winter.

In the summer, you can enjoy aerial experience in a glider, sport plane or motor plane from Starmoen Airport. The Ole Reistad Center offers air sports activities with experienced pilots and instructors. Air sports activities can be combined with courses, conferences and stays at the center.

Feel free to combine air sports with activities such as motocross, go-karts and outdoor adventures in or araound the leisure park. The golf course at Starmoen is owned and operated by Elverum Golf Club. The 18-hole course is located on sandy ground and is easy to walk, even in rainy weather.

Enjoy cross country or downhill skiing
In winter, the center is a perfect starting point for ski trips with groomed trails right outside the cabin door. There are plenty of ski trails in Elverum and our surrounding area. The trail network is versatile and runs through varied and easy forest terrain. From Ole Reistad Center you can almost walk straight out onto the groomed trail network for both classic and skating skiing styles. If there is little snow in the lowlands, we know of more snow-sure places in the surrounding area.

If you want to go downhill skiing, it is about 45 minutes by car to one of Norway's best alpine resorts, Trysil Ski Center.

Accommodation
Ole Reistad Center offers accommodation in dormitories and cabins, as well as camping sites. We can accommodate and arrange for conference and adventure groups of up to 40 people.
