RiverNorth’s family rafting is incredibly popular and suitable for families with children aged six and older. You’ll raft through numerous fun and safe rapids, and if you’re up for it, you can even try swimming in the river. This trip is sure to bring a wide smile to everyone in the family and will undoubtedly become a cherished memory!
Depending on the water levels, your rafting adventure will take place either on the Svenning River or the Auster-Vefna River. Since everyone wears waterproof gear the whole time, rafting works just as well in any weather – and on rainy days the trip takes on a wilder, more dramatic feel. The entire experience lasts about 3.5 hours from the time you arrive until you’re changed and ready for your next adventure.
RiverNorth also has its own riverside campsite, with nice swimming spots and good fishing. It’s a place for both activity and quiet moments, with options to play football, jump on the trampoline, rent a hot tub, or simply unwind and enjoy the surroundings. The camp offers warm showers and toilets. A perfect place to settle in — either before or after your river adventure.
