An exciting half-day rafting adventure at Trofors with RiverNorth

Join us for a half-day rafting adventure on the Austervefsna River! The river flows through alternating narrow gorges and open sections from Hattfjelldal to Trofors, and depending on the water level, different sections are rafted throughout the season. Each raft can accommodate up to eight people, plus a guide, and RiverNorth can take a total of 32 people on each trip. The tour is suitable for both experienced rafters and those new to the river.

When you book your rafting trip with RiverNorth, you also get free camping at their beautiful wilderness camp right next to the river. The minimum age for participation is 14 years, and the activity takes about 3.5 hours from the time you put on your wetsuit until you're changed and ready for new adventures afterward. Wet suits, helmets, and life jackets are provided as part of the tour. The river water is cold, so bring wool underwear, thin wool socks, shoes that can get wet, and towels for changing after the trip.
