Andersgrotta is a bomb shelter from World War II, located in the center of Kirkenes, and this was where the civilian population sought refuge during the more than 300 air attacks against Kirkenes.
In Andersgrotta you will see a film about Kirkenes in war, based on archive and new recordings. The film is both in English, German and Norwegian. The cave is open for groups of 10 people or more. Booking is made on the website, or Scandic and Thon hotel until 24 hours in advance.
