On Sunday, July 5, Arctic Kids invites to a riding weekend under the auspices of Narvik Riding School, which is idyllically located at the top of Skjomdalen.

You can choose from three different riding activities this Saturday, and all are adapted for children who have no knowledge of or ridden a horse in the past. This activity is suitable for children between 6 - 12 (16) years.

There are skilled instructors who take care of all the activities and the parents can also walk by if the children prefer.

Price: NOK 100 per person

The various riding activities you can choose from:

Track Riding for kids
Suitable for those who would like to try riding an Arctic horse. The horses can be rented from the riding school, with the help of the skilled staff there! Mum/dad can walk along if that is preferred. You get to ride the horse for a few laps on the big field, and if you want to try trotting, then you will be allowed to do so. Join us then!

Horse riding adventure at Taterholmen
Join us on a horse-riding adventure in the woods. If you haven’t ridden a horse before, we can rent the horse for you. Taterholmen is a large fine area by the beautiful river of Skjoma. The terrain is easy and suitable for everyone. Handsome ponies and horses are ready to turn this trip into an adventure.

Trick riding, fun and exitement are what create the sense of achievement
This offer is for those who are ready to take it a little further. You don’t need any prior experience to try voltige (trick riding). It’s the fun that gives you the sense of achievement. Designed for the slightly older kids. Takes around 15 minutes.
