Arctic Ski & Sail in Lyngen Alps - A great ski holiday

This tour is conducted by Northern Yachting. Join our adventurous Ski & Sail in the Lyngen Alps, followed by SPA treatment at Norway's northernmost spa resort on Uløya. The perfect way to experience the Lyngen Alps.

There is no better way to get close to the legendary mountains in Lyngen than our Arctic Ski & Sail with Tromso's largest and finest catamaran sailboat.

We bring you close to the mountains, where our professional mountain guide takes you on a safe and exciting summit hike. Our catamaran sailboat is a well-equipped and large boat, with all the facilities you will need on such a trip.

The mountains in Lyngen rise straight up from the sea and have some of the most spectacular skiing opportunities in Norway. From steep slopes to less challenging mountains, the varied terrain in Lyngen offers exciting challenges for all ski enthusiasts. The location at 70 degrees north gives this alpine peninsula good snow conditions and a long ski season. This contributes to Lyngen being considered one of Norway's best areas for skiing. The full potential of the heather is realized in the spring, with longer days, more sunlight and stable conditions that give us a greater opportunity for good and safe skiing.

PROGRAM:
A normal program runs from Monday to Friday with 4 days of skiing.
But this can be adapted to the needs of each individual group.

When you join Northern Yachting on Ski & Sail, you can look forward to a holistic experience. Among other things, you will have the opportunity to fish and enjoy the rich bird life at sea. Maybe we'll see killer whales hunting in their habitat? With us, you will get close to the Northern Norwegian nature, and it is therefore recommended to have the camera ready.

On board, tasty meals based on local ingredients will be served. Maybe it can be tempting with a homemade fish soup of self-caught fish, or a reindeer tenderloin?

Duration, destinations and activities along the way can also be customized.

Difficulty: The mountains in Lyngen and the surrounding area are suitable for most people's skill level. Our guide specializes in arranging the trip according to the customers' skills and physical shape
