Arctic Treasures - Snowmobile adventure towards Tempelfjorden- Basecamp Explorer Spitsbergen

Experience the true Arctic Treasures around Templefjorden area. Enjoy the excitement of snowmobile driving and experience the arctic wildlife like seals, reindeer and polar bear. Last but not least we will reach the majestic glacier front of Von Post in Templefjorden.

Our guide will meet you at your hotel and we drive to our expedition house. Here we will have a short brief about the coming trip, go through the safety rules and have a lesson on snowmobile driving. You will get all the essential equipment you need to keep warm and happy. And off we go. Experience the true Arctic Treasures around Templefjorden area. Enjoy the excitement of snowmobile driving and experience the arctic wildlife like seals, reindeer and polar bear. Last but not least we will reach the majestic glacier front of Von Post in Templefjorden. On the way back we will make a lunch break, enjoy warm expedition lunch and listen to the arctic silence around us. Arrival back in Longyearbyen in the afternoon.

Included:
- Guided snowmobile trip
- Thermal suit, boots, gloves, goggles, balaclava, hat and helmet.
- Snowmobile insurance and expedition lunch. 

Difficulty: Moderate, suitable for anyone with normal physical condition. No previous knowledge required. 

Note: All drivers MUST show their valid driver’s license for car or snowmobile. This must be carried throughout the trip. You will not be able to participate if you do not have your license. The passenger do not need to have a driver’s licence. No refund will be given. Temperature limits may apply for children.
