Askim Rectory

Askim rectory has a rich history that goes all the way back to the 12th century when Askim's first stone church was built. It has been the priest's home until the last parish priest moved out in 2014.
In addition to the central position the rectory previously had in the life of the village, Askim rectory has been involved in key events in Norways history with the Swedish king's unsuccessful campaign against Norway in the 18th century and in the fight for Norway's independence in 1814.

Askim rectory is organized as a foundation and aims to manage and operate the property with its history and cultural traditions.

The priest's residence is rented out to companies and courses. It is also possible to book accommodation.
