Ausevika is one of the most extensive rock-carving sites in Norway, with figures dating back more than 3000 years. There are more than 300 carvings, of both animals and humans. There are also fertility and agricultural motifs, known as Veidemannskunst, literally 'huntsman's art'. Geometric symbols, spirals and labyrinths are found throughout the site. Ausevika in Kinn municipality is visitor friendly, with a car park, footpaths, ramp access and infoboards.
