Built on Historical Grounds: The name "Auskin" harks back to the farm's old moniker. Established in 2017, AKS is a youthful and contemporary center, nestled within a traditional Trøndersk farmstead dating back to 1935. The center stands on historic grounds, with oral tradition suggesting that Saint-King Olav Haraldsson's army rested at what is now known as Olsåkeren before the Battle of Stiklestad. Viking Age temples and stone graves from around the year 200 have also been unearthed, underscoring the site's multi-millennial history of various life stages. AKS continues to evolve and transform, with new adornments in the garden and rooms taking shape as inspiration strikes.
