Trøndelag Trøndelag VERDAL

Bærja Cafe

  • Bredingsberg 6, Verdal
  • +47 94163902

Overview

Bærja Café in Vuku is a pleasant cafe with a warm and homely atmosphere with delicious lunch dishes that you can either eat in or take away.

Local food
One of the four ladies behind Bærja Café also runs Vuku Gårdsmeieri (farm dairy). Therefore, many of the dishes on the menu are made with products from the farm dairy. Meat products from the same farm are also used in some of the lunch dishes, such as the hot karbonade sandwich*.

Sales outlet
The café is also a point of sale for Vuku Gårdsmeieri. Various cheeses such as Cream cheese, Small cheese, mozzarella and Halloumi are some of the locally produced delights you can buy to take home.

Location
Bærja Café is centrally located in Vuku in Verdal municipality, close to the convenience store and with a hair salon and car garage next door. If you are going to Vera or Sul, we recommend stopping by the café on the way. Maybe you can enjoy lunch here, get coffee and cinnamon swirls "to go" and buy some local mozzarella cheese for your Saturday pizza?

Welcome! See you at Bærja <3

*Typically consisting of a patty of very lean cooked ground beef placed on top of a piece of bread along with various vegetables and/or condiments.
