Overview
Details

The Bødal Glacier lies at the end of the Bødalen Valley, and is one of the arms of the great Jostedalsbreen Glacier. The area belongs to the Jostedalsbreen National Park.

Drive up Lodalen Valley until you arrive at Bødal, then drive on a gravel road up to the parking lot (toll road). Nice walk to Bødalssetra mountain farm, and further to the glacier.

NB
It is very dangerous to move close to the glacier without a guide. The danger of ice falling off is high in certain parts of the glacier.
