Born and raised somewhere between the Kingston harbour and the Blue Mountain Peaks in Jamaica on an island with very few baking traditions, nothing fell more natural for me than to start an artisan bakery among snowy peaks in the midnight sun.
SPRØ is an artisan bakery established in Oppdal 2015. The following year our bakers demonstrated quality by winning both both 1st and 2nd spot at the Norwegian championships.
We craft our breads from sourdough and give them time to rise for taste development. Finally we bake them in a hearth oven. Alongside true baked goods, we serve simple dishes and we have an artisan selection of drinks and beverages. For coffee, we use the best we found: coffee beans from JACU roasted in the coastal town of Ålesund.
