The farm house at Engnes, Djupvik is located by the Lyngenfjord in a popular area for summit to sea skiing and nature-based activities. The house has a kitchen, storage room, living room, toilet and bathroom downstairs and three bedrooms upstairs sleeping up to six guests.

The farm house at Engnes in Djupvik is located by the Lyngen fjord in a very popular area for randonee skiers from summit to sea and other nature-based activities. During the winter season, we often experience the spectacular Northern Lights (aurora borealis) against the majestic mountain tops behind the house or towards the Lyngen Alps across the Lyngenfjord in front of the property.

The house consists of the kitchen, a storage room, living room, toilet and bathroom, as well as wardrobe downstairs. Upstairs there are three bedrooms with five beds sleeping 6-7 guests. The house is perfect for a group of four to five people. There is a grocery store just a three-minute walk from the house.

The boat house at the beach is the perfect place for barbecuing and relaxing during the summer season. From here, it's only a few minutes to a spot where you can enjoy the Midnight Sun all night. This is an excellent area for biking and hiking. The location is also perfect, close by the E6 on the main route between Alta and Tromsø.

Many of our guests are skiing enthusiasts keen to reach mountain summits Sorbmegaisa (ski in – ski out), Storhaugen (just a 10-minute drive from the house to the starting point), Uløya (a 10-minute drive and 15-minute ferry trip away), as well as the mountain tops of Kågen and the ferry port to Arnøya in Skjervøy, about an hour's drive away.

Other nearby attractions include Havnnes and Spåkenes peninsula with ruins of a World War II fortress. There are cross-country skiing tracks in the Rotsund area, and many outdoorsactivities around the mountains of Kåfjord, in the Raisa Valley and the Reisa National Park. The ferry to Lyngen is about a 20-minute drive from the house.

Please let us know what you want to do, and we will advise you where to find it or join you on a guided trip.
