Bergen by foot and ferry

Hosted by Heidi - a Bergen native, certified sommelier and licensed city guide – this relaxed urban journey combines historic Bergen with contemporary culture, everyday city life and hidden corners often missed by visitors.

The experience begins at Holbergstatuen and continues past Bryggen, the UNESCO World Heritage site, before crossing the harbour on Bergen's iconic Beffen ferry. From there, the walk unfolds through hidden streets, local neighbourhoods and carefully selected areas that reveal both the historic and modern sides of Bergen.

Along the way, guests are introduced to Bergen's history, architecture, food culture, design, street art and local life through personal storytelling and local insight.

Designed as a private experience for couples, families and small groups, this is an ideal introduction to Bergen for guests wanting something more personal and flexible than a traditional walking tour.

• The tour includes walking through Bergen's historic city centre, including cobblestone streets and some uneven surfaces

• The Beffen ferry is not wheelchair accessible

• Strollers/prams can normally be accommodated - we'll adjust accordingly

Cancellation: Full refund up to 48 hours before the tour starts. NOK 100 cancellation fee per booking.
