With the Bergen Card, you travel free on the City Light Rail (the tram called Bybanen in Norwegian) and buses in Bergen and the region (Beware that the card does NOT include all train routes operated by Vy). You get free or discounted admission to museums and attractions, as well as many cultural  events, various sightseeing tours, restaurants and parking. From October to May many museums may be closed on Mondays.

Free public transport:
The card is valid for public transport with the operator Skyss in the county previously called Hordaland. This includes Bergen and the region as well as places like Voss, Odda, and all of the Hardangerfjord. If you are going to Flåm you have a free journey part of the way.

To and from Bergen Airport Flesland:
You can also travel for free with Bergen Light Rail line number 1 to and from Bergen Airport Flesland. From the city center to the Airport, the journey will take approximately 45 minutes.

Start the day with one of our many sightseeing tours that give you an introduction to what Bergen has to offer. The Bergen Card gives you admission to attractions in the city centre as well as other attractions further out. Bergen has many museums, some with unique art treasures and others that show the breadth of the city’s historical heritage. Take a trip up to Mt. Fløyen and enjoy the view of the city, the fjord and the ocean. See seals, penguins, crocodiles and snakes close up at the aquarium and explore the world of science and technology with your family at the science centre.

Round off the day with a meal and a cultural event at one of the city’s many venues.
