Start your journey in Bergen, the famous gateway to the fjords of Norway. Spend your first night exploring this vibrant city, surrounded by mountains and sea. We recommend visiting the UNESCO-listed Bryggen Wharf, the lively Fish Market, and taking the Fløibanen Funicular for panoramic views of the city and surrounding fjords.

From Bergen, the Express Boat takes you through stunning fjord landscapes to Sunde in Sunnhordland. Here your cycling adventure begins, following the fjordside road to the charming village of Rosendal. You will spend two nights in Rosendal, with time to explore local highlights such as the Baroniet Rosendal Manor House and Rose Garden, the Folgefonna National Park Center, the unique Stone Park, and the spectacular Salmon Eye art installation. Hiking opportunities are plentiful, with mountain and fjord views in every direction.

Leaving Rosendal, the route takes you through varied and hilly terrain, offering breathtaking views of fjords, mountains, glaciers, and lush green valleys. Along the way, you will enjoy scenic ferry rides and boat trips, adding to the authentic coastal experience. Each stage ends in a cozy village, where you can discover the warm hospitality and authentic coastal and fjord culture of western Norway.

Food is an unforgettable part of this tour. Enjoy award-winning chefs and locally sourced cuisine, where every dish reflects the surrounding landscape – fresh, wild, and beautifully prepared. Comfortable hotels are included throughout your stay.

This is a self-guided bike tour with luggage transport, so you can focus on enjoying the ride and the scenery. The tour ends where it began – back in Bergen – giving you another chance to experience this historic and lively fjord city.
